Registration & Account Information
Any personal or company information provided, such as your address, phone number, or email address will not be sold or shared with any other companies or individuals for any purposes, unless expressly stated or requested from you first. Your information will only be saved for our billing and client contact records.
Domain Registration
Domain name registration information legally has to be available to the public. Since domain name registration information is available to the public, anyone can access it through “WHOIS” searches. The WHOIS database is a publicly accessible database that lists the domain name and contact information of each registrant. This would include domains registered through us. At times, our users may receive solicitations that result from searches of the publicly available WHOIS database conducted by other companies or individuals. However, the solicitation and/or SPAM they receive does not in any way come from Inception Web Designs. However, clients who add the privacy feature for their domain would not have their information available to the public for a WHOIS search.
Portfolio & Feedback
In the case of highlighting a service provided in our portfolio or feedback section, only your company or individual name will be used. With a personal name, only your last name will be used, with an initial for your first name. Typically when listing client feedback, we provide the city and state of you or your company. In the event that an individual is listed on our feedback, permission will be requested before posting the city and state.
Our Commitment to Data Security
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party, despite our best efforts.
Revisions to This Policy
Inception Web Designs reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this policy, and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner.
Exceptions
Except as stated in this policy, we will never give out your information without your permission. We reserve the right to give out such information without explicit permission only in the following circumstances:
1. As and to the extent required or permitted by law, or where we believe in good-faith that it is reasonably necessary to comply with subpoenas, court orders, other legal process, or requests of governmental authorities;
2. When intended to report, prevent or assist in the investigation of suspected fraud or other illegal activities, or otherwise to take actions in connection with such activities;
3. To enforce our Terms of Service or otherwise establish or exercise our legal rights or defense against legal claims;
4. Otherwise as provided for in the Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy.
